Summer Glau is an American actress famous for appearing as River Tam in the critically acclaimed TV series Firefly and as Cameron in the series Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Besides these she has starred in the television programs The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow and Sequestered as also guest starring in the programs Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck and Hawaii Five-0. This actress, who has been in films such like Knights of Badassdom or Serenity has also produced a large amount of TV series and short films. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Marcela Quintanilla was the mother of three children. When Selena was eight she began her career as a member of a band formed by her dad. Selena along with her siblings Abraham junior and sister Suzette were drummers. Selena sang for the group. Selena Y Los Dino band was a regular at bars, wedding fairs, dining establishments with her elder brothers and sisters. Selena's family members and she didn't have a good childhood because the group took up the majority of her time. They had a father named Abraham was a great supporter of them by encouraging their determination. Abraham senior, who was also in Los Dinos' original band, played the guitar. Selena Y Los Dinos formed officialy in 1981. It was the group's principal business, and the primary source of income for the family. Quintanilla was determined, even though having little money in early on. They worked to become a successful family band. The perseverance paid dividends in the 1980's when Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the western states. In 1986 the band got their first taste of fame in the form of Selena was awarded Female Singer of the Year and The Best Performer Award in the Tejano music awards. Selena Y Los Dinos grew in recognition and popularity since that time. They've appeared on a variety of Spanish TV shows, including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre In Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
